As a Coordinator, Asset Management you will:
- Build and maintain comprehensive building and infrastructure asset inventories.
- Oversee specialist facilities maintenance and asset management software systems.
- Ensure reactive and cyclical works are completed to legislative standards and scope, delivering consistent, high-quality service.
- Develop, implement, and review facility management policies and procedures, including contractor inductions and refurbishment planning across Deakin sites.

- Liaise with maintenance contractors an develop strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with maintenance coordinators to action backlogged tasks.
- Manage contracts and assets across Deakin Residential Services sites.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education or training.
- Formal facility management training or hands-on experience in planning, managing, and implementing facilities maintenance programs, including cyclical, ad-hoc, and refurbishment projects.
- Demonstrated ability to produce of high-quality reports, specifically in relation to facilities maintenance.
- Strong contract and contractor management by training or significant experience.
- Ability to apply and knowledge of OHS legislation as it applied to the facilities management industry.
