As an Administrative Officer in Faculty Services - Business and Law, you’ll be the go-to person for coordinating meetings, managing communications, maintaining office spaces, and providing reliable support to senior staff.

As an Administrative officer, you will:

  • Provide advice to staff and make referrals to other areas of the University as required.
  • Manage and action emails in shared Faculty inboxes, delegating as needed.
  • Oversee space allocation, maintenance, furnishings, staff maps, and building access for Faculty buildings and residences.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including inductions, space management, event coordination, and supporting Faculty committees and advisory boards.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, room bookings, agenda preparation, minute taking, and maintaining an organised online filing system.

 

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • A Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate with extensive relevant experience as a Technician; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone, and written communication.
